Fish Cake Banchan (어묵볶음)

1. Slice your fish cake into strips about 1x2 inches.
2. Stir-fry the fish cake strips with oil for a few minutes over medium heat until lightly golden.
3. Add thinly sliced onion and shredded carrots to the pan. Mix well.
4. In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, mirin, and sesame oil.
5. Add the prepared sauce to the pan once the onions are slightly translucent.
6. Optional: If you'd like to make your fish cake spicy, add 2-3 tablespoons of gochujang at this stage.
7. Transfer the cooked fish cake banchan to a serving plate.
8. Top with sliced green onion and sesame seeds.
